Auto number files / folders. Remove, add and replace characters / words. Change the filename and extension, alter their case ( upper, lower, title etc ). Apply a list of text to use as filenames ( for example, a written track list ). Build your own unique filenames and / or extensions using templates. View a live preview of your alterations without any commitment. Undo last changes. Show / hide folders. Set ID3 information for MP3 files. Set file / folder attributes. Set file / folder date and time ( created, last accessed, last written ) ( Windows NT only ). Move files / folders up and down the list. Save profiles for different renaming locations / requirements. Live preview shows you the changes you make in real time, without actually renaming the files ( this feature can be turned off, and you would have to click the " preview " button to see your changes ). Once you' re ready to rename everything, just click the " Apply " button and give the go ahead! If you are not happy with your changes, you can press the " Undo " button to restore the original filenames ( this is session-based only, so you cannot' undo' after you close and restart the program ). Setting the date / time of files and folders is only available if you are using a Windows NT-based system ( such as 2000, XP, 2003, Vista ). Although the program allows you to modify ID3 tags, it is not a dedicated ID3 manager.
